the light shines in the darkness

The winter months can often be dark and dreary, as the days are shorter and thick clouds threaten rain or snow.  We do many things to drive the darkness away: bright Christmas lights, delicious baked goods, and time with friends and family. Although these are all wonderful things, they cannot fill the God-shaped hole within our hearts.

Jesus provides us with Hope—a relationship that can satisfy the ache within our souls.  Would you pray that those who have not heard would come to believe in this hope?

God’s  heart  is  that  he  would  be  glorified  by  all  Peoples —  and  in  the  region  of  Eurasia,  there  remains  significant  barriers as over 150 unreached people groups live with no viable access to the gospel message. Geographic  isolation,  language,  culture,  suspicion  of  outsiders,  war  and  unrest,  political  tensions,  etc.,  all  make  it  very  difficult  to  bring  the  message  of  peace  and  forgiveness  to  the  unreached  peoples  in  Eurasia.

As  the  gospel  message  is  proclaimed  through  church  planting  efforts  across  the  region,  we  know  that  heart  change  comes  from  God  as  he  works  through  his  Spirit  and  the  power  of  His   Word  as  it  is  proclaimed,  declared,  and  taught  by  faithful  messengers.
